What was reported?
Three brief roadside encounters in Dover, Massachusetts, produced descriptions of a small, pale creature with an oversized head and long fingers. The short duration and darkness of each observation limit what can be inferred from their apparent similarities.
Bill Bartlett described a figure beside Farm Street, John Baxter reported one near Miller Hill Road, and Abby Brabham described an unusual animal along Springdale Avenue. Drawings became central to the story after investigators connected the accounts and the press publicised them.
These are the two nights assigned to the three central encounters in the published accounts. The later interviews and drawings are evidence about those reports, not additional sightings.
